  • ActivInspire in an Hour (Internal United Learning publication, 2007): CD ROM and booklet distributed to every teacher in the Group (30+ schools) to make the transition from ActivStudio to ActivInspire on their interactive whiteboards.

  • The Good Guide to Interactive Whiteboards (published February 2004). This is an audio-visual CD ROM produced as part of the REVIEW Project. It is accompanied by online helpsheets and an INSET guide, available at http://www.thereviewproject.org/helpsheets  (70,00 copies printed to date and accompanying website received 25,000+ hits whilst active)
  • Getting the most from your interactive whiteboard. A guide for Secondary Schools.’ (Becta 2004) Contributory author to this series of 13 subject-specific booklets and a similar one for Primary schools.
  • Thomas, Alison (TES, 23/05/03): ‘Little touches that spell success’ – Article written jointly with TES reporter, based on the work of the REVIEW Project.
  • ICT4LT  A training programme for MFL teachers, funded under the Socrates programme with various partners including universities in the UK, Finland and Italy. (Modules 1.5 / 2.3) This is still available online and was issued in printed format. ISBN: 0-9538687-7-02
  • CILT/NOF ICT Training Guide for Teachers of MFL: Course book for teachers undertaking the CILT/NOF course. Practical skills-advice booklet. (2001)
  • Developing Learning Strategies (Advanced Pathfinder) – CILT, 2001. A book aimed at teachers of post-16 learners, this book aims to look at how learning strategies can be developed.
